While studying at Indiana University, Jack’s hobby of building custom furniture to maximize limited space in his dorm room started him down the path to interior design. The way that strategic interventions could have a dramatic and positive impact on his day elevated his habit from yearly necessity to career aspiration.
This desire to improve someone’s daily experience isn’t just limited to design. Before earning his degree from the New York School of Design, Jack worked as a special ed teacher. At OKW, he uses this sensitivity for how different people use space to bring new perspectives to our projects.
Thanks to a degree in English, Jack’s main pastime is getting lost in a good book. However, if there’s an opportunity for travel, he will indulge himself with a little skiing or fly-fishing.
